Cessnock Race Two: Number Three I’m Ready
This daughter of More Than Ready is the sort of horse that needs everything to go her way in order to win. She should get everything to go her way today. Small field, clear galloping space, weighted well and the distance suits. Forget she went around last start, she had no luck at all when finishing eighth at Wyong. Look for her to be hitting the line hard at the end and hopefully in first position.
Cessnock Race Seven: Number Fourteen Miss Rosalind
She hadn’t shown much in her short career until last start at Cessnock when she was ridden on the speed and she was caught right on the line over the 1150m. We now know she likes to be ridden on the speed. Doesn’t appear to be much depth so jockey Robert Thompson can go forward and dictate. Weighted on the minimum and should win with normal luck.
Terang Race Ten: Number Three Zizz
If ever he was going to win again, today is his day. Has been given a four week freshen up by trainer Patrick Payne after struggling to run the 1600m out at Moonee Valley last start. Drops back to 1400m, tick. Jamie Mott riding, tick and a firm track, tick. He has always been regarded as a city class horse so you would expect him to take care of these if he wants to be a metro horse anytime soon.
